💥 BMCS Bi-Modular Charge System (M91 / M92)
Product Introduction
The Bi-Modular Charge System (BMCS) is a state-of-the-art replacement for conventional bag-type propellant charges used in 155 mm artillery. Instead of loose incremental bags, the BMCS uses standardised rigid modules that gunners can quickly stack to build the required firing zone — simplifying charge preparation, improving firing consistency, and reducing crew workload.
The system consists of two complementary modules used together as needed:
BMCS M91 — Single-Base Propellant
Low Zone module. Uses 1 to 2 modules for shorter ranges and training purposes.
- Ideal for close-range fire and training exercises
- Cost-effective single-base propellant formulation
- Maximum range: 12 km
BMCS M92 — Triple-Base Propellant
High Zone module. Uses 3 to 5 modules for 39-calibre guns, or 3 to 6 modules for 45-calibre and 52-calibre guns.
- Extended-range fire missions
- High-performance triple-base propellant
- Maximum range: 40 km
