Product Introduction
The M4A2 White Bag is a low-to-mid-zone propelling charge designed for 155 mm howitzers. The charge assembly consists of five incremental bag increments numbered 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7, allowing gunners to select the required firing zone in the field by removing the appropriate increments. The white cloth bag denotes single-base propellant, distinguishing it from the red bag (M119A2 / M203) high-zone charges.
The M4A2 is fully compatible with the standard family of 155 mm projectiles including the M107 HE round, M549 rocket-assisted projectile (RAP), and other NATO-standard 155 mm ammunition. Its consistent burn characteristics and long shelf life make it a preferred choice for artillery units requiring reliable performance across a range of tactical fire missions.
