Product Introduction

The gun was designed and prototyped in the 1950s, finalised and put into production in the early 1960s, and was mainly equipped with anti-aircraft artillery regiments of former Soviet motorised infantry and tank divisions and anti-aircraft artillery companies of parachute regiments. After its introduction into India, it was mainly used to conduct anti-aircraft operations, but could also be used to attack armoured targets on the ground. The gun's ammunition supply, firing and decommissioning actions are all automatic, thus having a high rate of fire. The structure is simple and easy to maintain, and it takes only 20 seconds to replace the barrel in combat. It has good cross-country mobility and quick change of combat status on the march.
