Product Introduction
The 7.62 × 54 mmR is the longest-serving military cartridge still in front-line use anywhere in the world — originally adopted in 1891 for the Mosin-Nagant rifle and still standard issue today in the Dragunov SVD sniper rifle, PKM/PKP general-purpose machine guns, and the Pecheneg. The rimmed case ("R") makes it uniquely compatible with belt-fed and magazine-fed weapons alike.
