The M107 — the NATO 155mm artillery workhorse
The M107 is the standard High-Explosive (HE) 155 mm artillery projectile of the United States and NATO allies. Designed in the 1950s and continuously refined, the M107 remains one of the most widely fielded 155 mm rounds in the world — compatible with M777 towed howitzers, M109 Paladin self-propelled howitzers, M198 towed howitzers, and virtually every NATO-standard 39-calibre 155 mm gun.
