The CS/LM2B — China's modern light air-defence gun
The CS/LM2B is a modern Chinese-designed twin 14.5 mm anti-aircraft gun system based on the proven Soviet KPV heavy machine gun (the same weapon used in the Russian ZPU-4). Designed by Norinco / NORINCO Group, the CS/LM2B is intended for low-altitude air defence against helicopters, UAVs, and low-flying fixed-wing aircraft, as well as ground fire against light vehicles and personnel.
The CS/LM2B modernises the classic ZPU concept with a lighter, more transportable single-mount design (vs the ZPU-4's heavier quad mount) and updated optical / electro-optical sights, making it particularly attractive for airborne, mechanised, and irregular-warfare use cases.

- BS-41 API — armour-piercing incendiary (defeats up to 20 mm RHA at 500 m)
- MDZ HE-I — high-explosive incendiary (aircraft, drones)
- ZP tracer — fire correction
- BZT API-T — combined armour-piercing incendiary tracer (mixed belt standard)
